c be the cost of the monthly plan.

1st plan:


c_1=28+0.14t

2nd plan:


c_2=8+0.18t

Setting the monthly costs equal to each other to get:


28+0.14t=8+0.18t


0.18t-0.14t=28-8


0.04t=20


t=500

when call minutes
t=500, then the cost of the plans are:

1st plan:
c_1=28+0.14*500


c_1=28+70


c_1=98

2nd plan:
c_2=8+0.18*500


c_2=8+90


c_2=98
