y=4x+1

Explanation:

to find the slope (m) you have to calculate what rise over run is for you table, in this table rise (y values) go up by 4 every time. so thats the numerator for your slope. the run is how much the x value goes up everytime, it goes up by 1 so the denomenator is 1, this simplifies to 4 so m= 4. the y intercept (b) is the y point where x equals zero so it is 1. x and y are simply variables used when graphing so they have no set values.
