It is basically saying you need to substitue 2/x for x into 8/x.

So 8/(2/x) = 8*(x/2) = 4x

Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer: 4x

Discussion:

If f(x) = 8/ x, then

f (2/x) = 8 / (2/x) = (8/2) * x = 4x

Thank you,

MrB
