The molecular formula of this compound is C6H10O4.

Molar mass of empirical; C3H5O2 = 12x3 + 5x1 + 2x16 = 36 + 5 + 32 = 73

Empiricals in the molecular; 146.1/73 = 2

Thus = C6H10O4
