Answer: The area would increase by different varying numbers, i.e. saying that 1 x 2 = 2 and 5 x 10 = 50, it would change by a factor of 25 or a different number had it have been another length and width.

Explanation:

if the length is 4 and the width is 5, the area would be 20. If the length and widths would be multiplied by 5, the length would be 20 and the width would be 25. 20 times 25 = 250
