Answer:

20 white bikes

Explanation:

The kids ratio of blue bikes to white is 3 to 5.

The sum of ratio is 3+5=8

so, out of 8 bikes , 5 bikes are blue

Now we need to find out how many bikes are white out of total 32 bikes

Let the number of white bikes is x

We make proportion

(ratio-White)/(ratio-total) = (White)/(total)

(5)/(8) = (x)/(32)

cross multiply it

5 * 32 = 8*x

160 = 8x

Divide both sides by 8

x= 20

So number of white bikes = 20
