5+4(21+3x)=41
5+(4)(21)+(4)(3x)=41(Distribute)
5+84+12x=41
(12x)+(5+84)=41(Combine Like Terms)
12x+89=41
12x+89=41
Step 2: Subtract 89 from both sides.
12x+89−89=41−89
12x=−48
Step 3: Divide both sides by 12.
12x12=−4812
x=−4
