Why are electrons not included in the atomic mass of an atom? because electrons do not have an important function in atom

because eletrons are so extremely small that they do not affect the mass



because electrons have more mass than protons neutrons combined

They have an incredibly smaller mass than both protons and neutrons, so their mass doesnt significantly affect the atomic mass.
