You can use the slope formula to find the missing variable.

m = (y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))

And plug in what you know into the equation.

m = (y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))

(1)/(8)=  (4-w)/(-10+6)

(1)/(8)= (4-w)/(-4) Multiply -4 on both sides

(-4)/(8)=4-w Simplify -4/8, then subtract 4 on both sides

(-1)/(2) - 4 = -w Make the denominators the same

(-1)/(2) -  (8)/(2) = -w

(-9)/(2)=-w Multiply -1 on both sides

(9)/(2) =w

Your answer is H
