Explain why you should not drink large quantities of ocean water. please use the words hypertonic and osmosis in your answer.

Your kidneys would fail and you would need a kidney transplant. This would happen because your kidneys are not large enough to hold a large quantity of ocean water. Also ocean water is bad for you. It will cause some sicknesses that you would need treated for.

You kidneys can’t process that amount of water. You could die of dehydration as you will become thirsty.
