The angles of the smaller triangle are the same as the big triangle. Since you know 2 of the 3 angles, and a triangle is 180, you can do this:

8. 74 + 37 + x = 180

111 + x = 180

x = 69

9. 34 + 65 + x = 180

99 + x = 180

x = 81
