So with this question, you want to convert the fractions into improper fractions. 3 1/3 as an improper fraction is 10/3 (Because 3 times 3 is 9 and 9 plus 1 is 10), and 2 3/4 as an improper fraction is 11/4.

10/3 times 11/4 means multiplying the top numbers (called the numerators) of both fractions together, which is 10 times 11 = 110, and multiplying both of the bottom numbers together, which is 3 times 4 = 12. The bottom number is called the denominator.

Then, you put the new numerator, 110, on top of the new denominator, which is 12. the answer is 110/12 (and you can simplify).

I hope this helps!
