A regular toilet uses 3.2 gallons of water per flush. A low flow toilet uses 1.6 gallons of water per flush. What is the difference between the number of gallons used by the regular toilet and the low flow toilet after 375 flushes?

A regular toilet uses = 3.2 gallons of water per flush.

So, after 375 flushes, water used will be =
3.2*375=1200 gallons

A low flow toilet uses = 1.6 gallons of water per flush.

So, after 375 flushes, water used will be =
1.6*375=600 gallons

Hence, the difference between the number of gallons used by the regular toilet and the low flow toilet after 375 flushes =
1200-600 = 600 gallons
