I’m having a hard time with these stupid problems someone please help I need all the steps -5=n+1, -6=x+2, y-9=-2, x-4=-10

-5 = n+1

subtract 1 from each side

-5-1 =n+1-1

-6 =n

-6=x+2

subtract 2 from each side

-6-2 =x+2-2

-8 =x

y-9=-2

add 9 to each side

y-9+9 = -2+9

y = 7

x-4 = -10

add 4 to each side

x-4+4 = -10 +4

x = -6
