The temperature of an object is -40 degrees Celsius. What will be its temperature on the Fahrenheit scale?

(-40°C × 9/5) + 32 = -40°F

It would still be -40 degrees in the Fahrenheit scale. First multiply it by 9/4, -40 x 9/5, then add 32.
