Hi There!

Question - What happens to most of the energy an organism consumes?

Answer/Why - There are mainly 2 types of organism which consists of producers and consumers. The producers which is mostly plants that turns carbon dioxide into food which consists of glucose and oxygen. When the producers eat the plants they get less energy than what the plant originally made.

Most of the energy that is consumed by organisms is stored in their bodies and if the energy is not immediately stored then the organsisms store it or passes through waste products, though animal waste contains energy that can be used by other organisms.
