D is the answer because if you combine it:

2y + y= 3y

3y= y+y+y

2z+z=3z

3z=3z

Answer:

The answer is C

Explanation:

There are 3 y's and there are three z's

3(y+z) means that you are multiplying 3 and y, and 3 and z which gives you 3y+3y

Which also equals y+y+y+3z
