\sqrt{}(18)/(50) = (3)/(5)

√(4) = 2\\\\√(36) = 6

6 + 2 = 8

Q2:

Cancel the common factors: 2


\sqrt{}(18)/(50)  = \sqrt{}(9)/(25)]

Apply the radical rule(if you need to know what radical rule is, please ask in comment section)


√(9) /√(25)

Factor the number: 25 = 5²


√(9) /√(5^2)

Apply the radical rule


√(9) / 5


√(9)  = 3


(3)/(5) or .6

√(4) + √(36) = 2 + 6 = 8
the second one
