Given: Base area of cone i.e.,
A = \pi r^2=27.4 \ {in}^2

and Volume of cone i.e.,
V = (1)/(3) \pi r^2 h = 54.8 \ in^3

Since,
\pi r^2=27.4

Substituting above in:
(1)/(3) \pi r^2 h = 54.8, we get:

(1)/(3) (27.4) h = 54.8

i.e.,
h = 54.8 ((3)/(27.4))

i.e.,
h = 2(3)

i.e.,
h = 6 \ in
