Answer- It is an oceanic-continental convergent boundary since an oceanic and a continental plate is coming together, creating a subduction zone. This creates magma, which comes up to the surface in the form of mountains or volcanoes i.e. the circled image.

Answer:

The tectonic plate boundary that has been caused by the structure that is circled in the image is an oceanic-continental convergent plate boundary.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • It is evident from the image that a continental plate and an oceanic plate are converging together where the oceanic plate can be clearly seen subducting below the continental plate.
  • Such a boundary where one of the two plates is progressing towards the other and the other plate is resisting its movement is called a convergent plate boundary.
  • Now because the two plates shown in the picture are oceanic and continental plates, the tectonic plate boundary is called an oceanic-continental convergent plate boundary.
