Answer-

y=3600-300x

Solution-

Alisa saved $3,600 and then she is taking $300 each month from this saving account.

Taking number of months on abscissa and amount of money in account on ordinate.

In the beginning, i.e when number of month is 0, the amount of money in her savings account will be = $3600. This is why 3600 is the y-intercept of the the equation.

Then, she withdraws money from the account at a rate of $300 per month, so the slope of the equation will be -300 (-ve sign is because the amount is decreasing)

The Slope-Intercept formula of straight line is,

y=mx+c

Where,

m = slope, c = y-intercept

Putting the values,

y=-300x+3600

y=3600-300x
