(x+1)/(8x^2) and
(2x-3)/(12x)

LCD is 24x^2

we need to find out b when multiply with first fraction to get 3x+3/24x^2

(x+1)/(8x^2) ((b)/(b)) =(3x+3)/(24x^2)

We need to find out a number what multiply with 8x^2 to get 24x^2

8x^2 * 3 = 24x^2

(x+1)/(8x^2) ((3)/(3)) =(3(x+1))/(24x^2)=(3x+3)/(24x^2)

So the value of b is 3
