Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are processes by which plants and animals use to create energy from food.
Photosynthesis is exclusive to plants only though. It starts with sunlight which goes through the Electron Transport Chains (ETC's) and then through a cycle known as the Calvin-Benson cycle to create glucose.
Cellular respiration (cell resp) takes the glucose made in photosynthesis (or in the case of humans, from our food) and takes it through the Krebs cycle (sometimes referred to as the Citric Acid cycle) to create Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) which is used to give us energy.
