Step-by-step explanation: well based on the graph for number 1, the x value represents the amount of newspapers. The smallest value there is two. On the Y value it tells you the cost. When x is 2, y is one. This means he makes $1 for every 2 newspapers. However, the question is asking you how much for each. Each, means one. So you divide 2 newspapers by 2 get 1. Now you also have to divide the $1 by 2. Which will in turn give you 50 cents. Did the explanations help? Or did I just confuse you more?
