Plants take in these essential elements from the organic fertilizers and soil and convert them into usable form such as food. Now since the recycling of organic waste and dead organism stops , the plants will not get nutrients from soil and thus they will not be able to produce food. Therefore, all species (including the plant themselves) dependent on food produced by plant will not get food and may die out eventually (in absence of food)
