There would be 1024 possible outcomes.

There are only 2 different ways a coin can land: heads and tails.

So, if you flip it 10 times, you do 2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2 or 2 to the 10th power.

Hope this helps :)

Answer: 1024

Explanation:

The total number of possible outcomes for the whole event occurring n times is given by :-

b^n, where b is the number of outcomes for an event.

A fair coin has two possible outcomes ( Head and Tail ).

i.e. b=2

The number of possible outcomes are there when flipping a coin 10 times is given by :-

2^(10)=1024

Hence, there are 1024 possible outcomes.
