Write an equation in slope-intercept form of the line with slope 3 that contains the point (1,2). HELP PLEASE!!

point slope form = y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y-2 = 3(x-1)

distribute

y-2 = 3x-3

add 2 to each side

y = 3x-1

this is in slope intercept form
