Imagine this situation: Two boys are play fighting in the hallway and push a Year 7 boy who hurts himself. A teacher tries to stop the boys and they ignore them. When the teacher tells the boys they will receive detention for their disrespectful behaviour, both boys get aggressive and say “they were only joking” and that the teacher is being “childish.”

What are some of the ways this situation should be handled?

Answer: Here is my honest opinion; The two boys should not get detention because they literally were just playing. As for the boy who hurt himself, that's his own fault for not paying attention because he could have easily avoided that. The teacher needs to mind her own dang business and go to get her coffe and salad or whatever, and let the boys keep playing. The only reason the two boys who were playing should get in trouble (and even this is still should me a mild punishment) is if they were late to class while doing this * doing this and because of it, being late* but even if THAT was the case, it still should not be a big punishment.

Step-by-step explanation:

In another secnario that they might be skipping class to do this, that would be reasonable to give them detention. Otherwise Barbra

(teacher) needs to mind her own dang business
