The equation for surface area is A=2(wl+hl+hw) , so step by step

L=7

w=5

h=4

2(wl) +2(hl)+ 2(hw) = 2(7x5) + 2 (4 x 7) + 2 ( 5 x 4)

= 2 (35) + 2 ( 28) + 2 ( 20)

= 70 + 56 + 40

= 166

so the surface area would be 166
