The correct answer is = ils sont sévères

Ils sont pauvre ==> 'pauvre' is singular (pluriel = pauvres)

ils sont drôle ===> 'drôle' is singular (pluriel = drôles)

ils sont snobs ===> it is said that adjectives coming from a foreign language has to stay 'invariable' ==> as les filles sont s e x y , ma montre est warterproof, des musiciens punk, des musiques pop.....

Ils sont sévères ==> the only correct adjective with an 's' for the plural form

Note that 'pauvre', 'drôle, 'snob' and 'sévère " are all singular masculine and feminine adjectives
