Put the function f(x) = -14 - 4 (5 - 3 x) in the form f(x) = b + m x

f(x) = -14 - 4(5 - 3x)

distribute the -4 to the whole parentheses

-4 × 5 = -20

-4 × -3x = 12x

f(x) = -14 -20 + 12x

subtract 14 from -20


f(x) = -34 + 12x
