`m\angle A+m\angle C=90^o\\\\(3x-8)+(x-2)=90\\\\3x-8+x-2=90\\\\(3x+x)+(-8-2)=90\\\\4x-10=90\qquad|+10\\\\4x=100\qquad|:4\\\\x=25`

Calculate m∠A:

`m\angle A=(3x-8)^o\to m\angle A=(3(25)-8)^o=(75-8)^o=67^o`

Answer: 67°
