four inches squared cuz you just multiply the length (the long side) and the width (how wide it is) wich is 4 x 1 you’re welcome

Area for a rectangle/square is always:
Length x width = Area
Plug in the values:
4 x 1 = 4.
Thus, the area is 4 inches^2
4 inches squared...
