5 ounces for 4 weeks is 20 ounces.
There are 16 ounces in a pound so 20 ounces is 1 pound and 4 ounces.
8 lbs 3 oz plus 1 lb 4 oz is 9 lbs 7 oz.
After 4 weeks, he should weigh 9 lbs 7 oz
