A triangle has sides of length 4,3, and 5. is it a right triangle? explain

it is a right triangle because a 3, 4, 5 triangle is always a right triangle. it is because it is a Pythagorean Triple. all the sides are whole numbers

Yes. Notice that the Pythagorean Theorem applies here. 3^2 + 4^2 = 5^2, so this triangle is a right triangle.
