Height of the mountain

=11,240 feet.

Height of model

=60 inch

Ratio of model's height to height of mountain

=60\:inch 11,240\:ft

We convert to same units.

1\:foot=12\:inch

\Rightarrow 5\:ft=60\:inch

Therefore our ratio becomes,

=5ft :11,240ft

We can now divide each term in the ratio by 5 to get,

1:2248

Therefore there ratio of the model's height to that of mountain is

1:2248
