Speed = Distance/ Time.

For example: A car travels for 30 miles and it takes 2 hours. What speed was the car moving at?
I always convert my time into seconds unless the question says something else.
120 X 60 =7,200
30/7200 = 0.00416667

If time (t), acceleration(a) and initial velocity (Vi) is given distance can be find by

S = (Vi)t + (1/2) at²

If both velocities initial velocity an final velocity is given then formula will be

2aS = (Vf)²- (Vi²)

Where S is the distance.
