The way I did this was made everything decimals so .75/.25 and it equals 3

When you divide by a fraction, you are multiplying by the reciprocal.

(The reciprocal is the fraction but "flipped")

So


(3)/(4) / (1)/(4) = (3)/(4) * (4)/(1) = 12/4 =3
