False, because An autotroph ("self-feeding", from the Greek autos "self" and trophe "nourishing") or producer, is an organism that produces complex organic compounds (such as carbohydrates, fats, and proteins) from simple substances present in its surroundings, generally using energy from light (photosynthesis) or inorganic chemical reactions (chemosynthesis).

Autotrophic organisms require other organisms to produce their own food. This statement is false because autotrophs are those organism which prepare thier own food by th help of photosynthesis that is in the presence of light ,water ,carbon dioxide and other chemical components etc . Autotrophs are also called producers because they compose their own food.
