since we got a point and the slope, we can start with the point-slope form :

y - y1 = a(x - x1)

"a" being the slope, (x1, y1) being the point.

y - -6 = 3(x - -9)

y + 6 = 3(x + 9) = 3x + 27

y - 3x = 21
