Question 2:

James was attending an IT course. He had two tests, each worth 10% of the final mark; a project, worth 15% of the final mark; and the practical exam, worth

65% of the final mark.

If he has scored: 88% in Test 1, 68% in Test 2; 99% in project and 70% in the exam, what was his final mark (weighted mean) as a percentage?.........

Thank you

Okay Let's start,
T-shirt=50
Hat=70
Shoes=180
Skirt =X
Average price for all of this is 120
So (50+70+180+X)/4=120
solve this equation and you get that X which is the skirt is 180$
______________________
Test(1)=10
Test(2)=10
Project=15
Final exam=65
He got 8.8 in test one and 6.6 in test two 14.85 in the project and 45.5 in the final exam (I converted the percentages into a percentage relative to the total percentage )
so he got as a total 8.8+6.6+14.85+45.5=75.75%

The skirt was $180 because...
4 × 120 = 480
480 - 50 - 70 - 180 = 180
