1. Know what elements make up water and in what proportions

2. Know why water is pilar and where the poles are

3. Know what pH scare measures and how to use the scale to determine pH

Can someone answer all these for me? I really need help!!!!

1) hydrogen and oxygen make up water, you need 2hydrogens to every oxygen hence H2O.

2) water is polar because the oxygen atom is much more electronegative than the hydrogens pulling the bonded e closer. hence has polar bonds and is an asymmetrical shape so don't cancel each other out and is an over all polar molecule.
