y - 14 = 12( x + 1)

the equation of a line in ' point - slope form ' is

y - b = m(x - a) → (m is slope and (a, b) a point on the line)

here m = 12 and (a , b) = ( - 1, 14)

y - 14 = 12(x - (-1)) ⇒ y - 14 = 12( x + 1)
