If a bowling ball and a golf ball are moving at the same velocity, which one would have more momentum? Why?

The bowling ball has more momentum because it has more mass than the golf ball.

Please correct me if I'm wrong!! I'd be happy to fix it!! :)

Answer:

A bowling ball

Step-by-step explanation:

Momentum is the product of mass and velocity. It is a vector quantity that is has both direction and magnitude. It is measured in kg-m/s

p= mv

where, m is the mass and v is the velocity.

The golf ball and bowling ball are moving with the same velocity but they have different mass. Bowling ball is heavier than a golf ball. Thus, the momentum of bowling ball would be more than that of the golf ball.
