Equation:

5 + d > 5 - d

5 + d + d > 5

d + d > 5 - 5

2d > 5 - 5

2d > 0

d > 0 / 2

d > 0

Hope it helped,

5+d>5−d

solve for d. First, isolate the d. Add d to both sides, and subtract 5 from both sides

5 (-5) + d (+d) > 5 (-5) - d (+d)

d + d > 5 - 5

2d > 0

Next, to isolate the d, divide 2 from both sides

2d/2 > 0/2

d > 0

d > 0, or (D) is your answer

hope this helps
