The horse has 4
(1)/(5) oats =
(21)/(5) oats

It will eat 2
(1)/(2)

So the horse left with=
(21)/(5) - 2 (1)/(2)= (42-25)/(10) = (17)/(10) =1 (7)/(10) oats (Answer)
