For muscle repair 7-14 days, For Exercise to muscle groups or exercise in general its recommended to rest at least 1-2 days per muscle group exercise.

Ex.) Day 1; Legs Day 2; Arms Day 3; Legs Day 4; Chest, Biceps, Back Muscles
