Answer: Food chain

Step-by-step explanation:

One organism is linked to another organism in a linear path is known as food chain. In this the organism at lowest level are producers that make food by the help of the process photosynthesis.

The primary consumers eat producers for their energy needs. Then the secondary consumers eat primary consumers for their food.

The tertiary consumers feed on the secondary consumers for their food. This is a linear path and is unidirectional.

Producers→ primary consumers→ secondary consumers →tertiary consumers
