Next using the same number that multiply for the denominator you multiply the numerator, combining all those step you are left will 5/15+6/15. Then you add 5/15 to 6/15 to get 11/15 which is the answer.

Find common denominators. What you multiply to the denominator, you multiply to the numerator

1/3(5/5) = 5/15

2/5(1/3) = 2/15

5/15 + 2/15 = 7/15

7/15 is your answer
