If you elevate any positive number to a positive exponent like in the case of those two numbers you will always get a number bigger than 1. Even more so if you multiply the results of these two numbers by each other.

Answer:

Student claim is correct.

Explanation:

Given : A student claims that
8^3\cdot 8^5 is greater than 1.

To find : Explain whether the student is correct or not ?

Solution :

We solve the expression that student claim,

8^3\cdot 8^5

Applying property of power,
a^b\cdot a^c=a^(b+c)

8^3\cdot 8^5=8^(8)

8^3\cdot 8^5=16777216

As
16777216>1

So,
8^3\cdot 8^5>1

Student claim is correct.
